Professional Info
Melody Yin is a fashion designer and make-up artist. Her style is draws from a combination of Asian mythology and Western fashion traditions. Yin had learned about sculpture, oil painting and sketch before she began to study fashion design at the Shanghai Theatre Academy. In the CCAD MFA program her works liken females into ferocious beasts, creating a series of dresses that are inspired by the tronditional Chinese monsters from 'Shan Hai Jing'.
